History of the Wunder Roost Bed and Breakfast – This near Lincoln Nebraska lodging, is a family owned and run Bed and Breakfast, by Innkeepers Jim and Kay Wunderlich. The Farmhouse, Barns and Outbuildings date to the turn of the century and where built by the Innkeepers Great Grandfather. Who traveled for months at a time constructing homes and barns for families. The Home features original yellow pine floors, doors, wood work and a claw-foot tub. The name Wunder Roost comes from the Farm in an earlier life, our history lives on in these walls. Wunder Roost offers the upper level of their families farmhouse as your private sanctuary. With your own personal entrance and patio. As well as the Lincoln Common Room that holds the wood burning stove and Kitchenette. Rest in our outdoor areas, patios, and hot tub and take in all of our barns and outbuildings and hot tub area, that are our home!
